About Us
KIDS COUNTRY FOR GOOD is sponsored by Timber Trails Children’s Project, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of young people and making the world a better place to be.
It is our goal to sponsor a site on the internet that will:
- support philanthropy and encourage children and young people to contribute and make a difference in the world.
- help end hunger and meet basic human needs around the world.
Some very special young people have been an integral part of creating kids country for good since it’s first beginnings. although we are unable to personally acknowledge them due to their ages, we would like to express our deepest heartfelt gratitude to each of them for their wonderful ideas and creativity, time, energy and dedication to this project.
In 2010, ninety percent of the funds raised on this website will be donated in support of Mercy Corps, an exceptional 501(c) nonprofit organization, whose work focuses on ending hunger, providing sustainable, clean, safe drinking water, and meeting other basic human needs. Ten percent will be retained to defray the costs of operating expenses for KIDS COUNTRY FOR GOOD.
